This is very old type of kokusai metal modelgun. I don't know exactly
when did kokusai produced this model. I think it produced around
early '70. I've never touched with my barehand and never dry fire. it is so beautiful that i can't do it. if someone really interested in this modelgun,
Please contact me.

Hi John,

No, the real P38's did not come with wood grips unless they where the early HP prototypes, presentation guns or the options on the pre/post war commercial P38's. The vast majority of the produced P38's had bakelite (plastic) grips.

I actually had the all zinc blued "gestapo" version of that Kokusai! I sold it because it wasn't a blowback model!

It is even better to me if it is a dummy version. Laughing
So is it still a PFC version but no blowback, like my MGC all zinc M1911 ?

Anyway, I wish Marushin could re-produce the P-38 with HW Centre Fire, like its Hi-Power soon. So continue waiting ..... Mad

John,

I am sure that Marushin will get around to making the HW P38 sometime soon.

I guess the Kokusai P38 is technically a PFC (PFC is a Marushin term actually)modelgun but, it isn't a blow-back model. They are manually actuated cap firing repeater pistol as the 5mm cap do fit in the hollow noses of the solid brass cartridges and, the detonators will strike the caps when the trigger is pulled.
